Using tags to find objects in your project

Tagging objects allows you to quickly find the objects in your project:

Finding tagged objects using quick search in the Project

To find tagged objects using quick search in the Project:

  1. Create a tag and assign it to objects. See Using tags.
  2. In the Project in the quick search box enter the entire tag name you are looking for and press Enter.

Finding tagged objects using the Find Project Item tool

To find tagged objects using the Find Project Item tool:

  1. Create a tag and assign it to objects. See Using tags.
  2. Select Edit > Find.
    The Find Project Item window opens.
  3. Select Advanced Search tab, add a new criteria and in the Criteria select:
    1. Has Property Value
    2. Tags property
    3. Click Tags button and select the tag you are looking for.
  4. Click Search.
    The Find Project Item shows all objects with the tag you selected.
